We had another doctor appointment today! It was just another check-up and everything is still going along good. I gained back the 4 lbs that I lost, and about 5 more. Dr. Byerly was out so Carylon Frerich saw me today and said that was normal and there was nothing to worry about. At my next visit, which is on my birthday, they will test for Group B Strep and will also be the beginning of my once a week visits!! Woohoo!! We're getting closer and closer!!
Kayla finally got to be discharged from the hospital!! Her and Garrett are staying in a camper at the hospital until Payton gets to come home. Payton is still in NICU, but she is doing really good and I was told that she was the loudest one in there! haha!

Payton's here!!
We have a little girl!!! She was born yesterday at, I think, 12:23 pm. 3 lbs, 5 oz and healthy! It all happened so fast that we missed everything! I think Kayla pushed about one time and there was little Miss Payton. Shantel took a video and that is the only picture I have seen so far, but she has some long legs and she was a pretty pink color. There is one little part in the video where Garrett is just smiling from ear to ear with his big ol' dimples showing, and you could just tell how excited and proud he was all at the same time.
When we left yesterday, from what we had heard, Payton was going to be in NICU for 10 days. Kayla was doing good, and was put back into the ICU for mom's so they could keep a close watch on her. I think she only had to be there for 12 hours, but so much was happening that I could be wrong about that.
Whew!! What an eventful and blessed week!!

Payton Marie Keune
Yesterday my little brother's girlfriend went for a regular check-up at Dr. Byerly's office and ended up getting admitted to Scenic Mountain Medical Center for preeclampsia. She was really swollen from head to toe and had really high blood pressure. After about an hour of being observed, they decided to transfer her out to Odessa Regional. After a long night of waiting around for test results, the doctor, I believe it is Dr. Lively, decided that instead of just waiting around to see if she gets better that they really needed to induce her because her cervix was really soft and he could already feel the baby's forehead. He also said something about her lab work on her liver not being too great, but I wasn't in there when he was talking to everyone about that part so I'm not real sure what's going on there. Last night when we left the hospital, Kayla was relaxed and sleeping, but already dialated to a 2. Her blood pressure had gone down quite a bit, and the baby was also doing good.
This morning I heard from my mom who told me that not a whole lot has changed from last night. Kayla is still dialated to a 2, and her and Garrett were both sleeping whenever she called at about 7 am. I'll keep everyone updated as to how they are doing, but we might have a baby by the end of the day!!
Dr. Byerly told my Dad yesterday that if they did deliver, the baby will probably have to be in NICU, which is newborn ICU, for about 2 weeks. The doctor in Odessa hasn't said anything in regards to that yet, but I'm praying that maybe little Miss Payton Marie was just ready to get out of there and won't even have to go to the NICU unit.

Doctor appointment at 31 weeks!
We had another doctor appointment today and everything is great! We didn't have any tests or anything this week, just a check up. I actually lost 4 lbs. from the last appointment and how I did that, I have no clue! haha!! I have really slacked off the past two weeks on watching what I eat, and haven't even walked the last two weeks. Dr. Byerly said it is nothing to worry about though because my belly is still growing and is within the normal range. The next test will be at 35 weeks to test for Group B Strep, which I am NOT looking forward to, and that week is also the beginning of going to the doctor once a week instead of every two weeks.
Well, we had another great weekend, well at least most of it. Friday we had a BBQ planned at our house and while we were out getting the food, our water well went out again. So, we moved the BBQ over to my moms house and ended up having a pretty good time. Turns out that we have moles that are chewing the wires. Chance and my brother, Garrett, got that fixed in about an hour on Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon, I finally got to go out to Connie and Brenda Edwards house for a crawfish broil and also got to put faces to all the names that I've been hearing about the last year or so! This was my first time to ever eat crawfish, and it tastes pretty good even though I made Chance get all the meat out for me. haha! Then on Sunday, Chance worked on his truck a little bit and I did laundry, but the rest of the day we hung out at the house and watched movies.
I still haven't got pictures of the baby room yet, but I promise that I'll get them up soon! I was going to put them up yesterday and grabbed the wrong cord to plug up to my computer.
