Yes, Shaylee is already 2 months old!! It has gone by SO fast and she is getting so big! She now weights 14.5 pounds, and I'm not sure how tall she is, they sure didn't offer to tell me. She got her shots, which was really sad, but she did really good and cried for just a minute after they gave them to her. I think she did get her feelings hurt a little bit because even while I was holding her at home she would just all of a sudden have a pout on her face and just start to cry a little bit. I think I told her sorry about a million times that day! LOL!
I hope that everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. I know that we sure did! Friday night my brother, Garrett, his girlfriend, Kayla, and my little neice, Payton came over to the house to hang out for a little bit, by the way Payton is getting big too and holds her head up so good. I had a friend that was having a hard day so after being sure it was okay with Chance, I offered to be her driver and take her to John Wesley's. We had a pretty good time and I think it made her feel a little bit better and it was kind of nice to hang out with a couple of my friends for a little bit, it's hard to get them together anymore. Saturday, I went to Midland with Cindy to get stuff for the wedding, only 54 more days!! Saturday night we were invited to go to Colorado City Lake and had a great, relaxing time! Vince and Vicki did a great job with their fish fry, everything was delicious! We got to put Shaylee's little bikini on her and got a couple of pictures, but I've lost my camera so I'll post them when I finally find that thing. Sunday, we just hung out at the house. Chance was outside working on the truck, and Shaylee wouldn't let me put her down so I started watching episodes of TrueBlood and am addicted!! I watched all 10 episodes and am waiting for the new episode to come out this Sunday. On Monday, Cindy picked up Shaylee to take her to see her grandma and grandpa Bailey while I did some much needed cleaning around the house.
Well, Homecoming for Big Spring is coming up and I can't believe that I am just 4 years away from having my 10 year class reunion! Wow, that makes me feel old. I'm not going this year, but will definitely have to go next year to see some of the class that were Seniors when I was a Freshman. Okay, so I probably won't go to the game, I hardly went to them when I was in school, but maybe I will meet up with some of them. LOL!
